Jesus says when you are praying, after praying that the will of God will be done. After praying that God should do what He needs to do in your life. After that, your daily provision will be provided. Jesus said, “when you are praying, declare and say that lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”. Jesus said when you are praying, pray that you will be delivered from evil. That is where we are today, the part that I want us to focus on today the “leads us not into temptation but deliver us from evil”.   Now most people feel that there is no point when you prayed that God should deliver you from evil. Some people think that it is not important as a believer that you pray that God should deliver you from evil or to pray against demonic attacks and the attacks of the enemy. Jesus Himself taught His disciples that when you are praying, pray and say lead us not into temptation and also deliver us from evil. Why did Jesus tell His disciples that when they pray, that God would deliver us from evil? It is simple. It simply means that evil is bad, there are people that are evil, there are evil things that goes around to attack the lives of us as believers. There are demonic authorities that have satanic powers that confront our very existence. That confront and attack our progress. That attack everything that we do. So Jesus in His infinite wisdom told His disciples that when they are praying, make sure that you pray that Jehovah God would deliver you from evil. It is very essential that we pray at this demonic authorities and powers that confront and contend with our lives.
