MARCH, 2020 - THE MONTH OF INCREASE & EXPANSION
Ezekiel 36:11 Amplified Bible (AMP)
"11 I will multiply on you man and animal; and they will increase and be fruitful. And I will cause you to be inhabited as you were formerly, and I will do better [things] for you than at your beginning. Then you will know [with great confidence] that I am the Lord"
‘I will multiply on you man and animal; and they will increase and be fruitful.’ The word multiply can be interpreted to mean ‘to be or become much, many or great’. The verse states here the purpose is not only to multiply but you will see increase and become fruitful. Fruitfulness multiplies or adds to what's already there, producing more of something, it’s an increase. ‘And I will do better [things] for you than at your beginning.’ When God makes a promise to his people, it will come to pass, therefore he assures you that he will do better things for you than it was at your beginning. ‘Then you will know [with great confidence] that I am the Lord’. This is an assurance that when all these things come to pass it will be a sign that indeed he is Lord.
In the Bible, one can find the most destitute person who lived on earth in the person of this widow, whose divine experience with God, can never be forgotten. She might have been destitute, but in her lack, God sent Prophet Elijah, to demonstrate God’s intervention through His provision. God sometimes challenges our faith in order for us to experience the supernatural. If we always move in the confines of what is natural and reasonable, then we will never see God’s miraculous work in the midst of our circumstances. If the widow ate everything she had, she and her son would have died of starvation. Does God’s ways often times seem to “surprise” you? You do not always understand what He is up to, nor do you understand how He does things in a way that would benefit you in the end. It doesn’t matter in what situation you are in right now. The bottom line is this: God is great, and He is able and willing to meet all our needs – he will increase you and expand you.
You have had to deal with things that come to an end: you lost a main client, a friend you could always count on moved away, or loved one went to be with the Lord. You have experienced and seen God's blessing in the past, you know you have his favor, but it feels like that favor has been taken away. God will never remove something, unless he has something better coming. If he didn't stop certain things, you would never get out of your comfort zone, you would stay with the familiar. So, sometimes God will put an end to what doesn't make sense to you, you may not understand why the friend walked away, why the business pushed you out, why your sales are not what they used to be? God is not doing that to make your life more difficult, he's getting you in position for increase and expansion. He has to stop what was working, to force you to stretch, so you can come into greater provision, greater favor, and greater grace.
Stir your faith up, you are entering into your season of increase and expansion. It does not matter in what situation you are in right now, the bottom line is, God is great, and He is able and willing to meet all your needs and do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power that works in you. If you can do this, I decree and declare: supernatural doors of increase and expansion will open, new relationships, new opportunities, breakthroughs, the fullness of your destiny, in Jesus name, Amen.
